Dyne test pens & inks
To obtain optimum adhesion when printing, laminating or coating we need to increase the surface energy of the substrate. Determining this surface energy can be achieved by surface energy test inks or pens, more commonly known as Dyne Inks or Pens. Corona Supplies offers a wide range of Dyne Pens and Inks to measure surface tension. All of our dyne inks and pens are supplied with simple instructions for easy use
Quick Test Pens
Corona Supplies prefilled dyne level pens contain no formamide and are an ideal when a quick dyne level test is required, for example by production operatives.
These dyne pens contain 10ml of ink each and come packed in 10 pens to a box.

Jumbo Test Pens
Corona Supplies has a range of dyne level test inks in ease use Jumbo Pens which are prefilled for ease of use.
These dyne pens contain 50ml of ink per pens and come packed in 6 pens per box.
Each box can be of the same dyne level or a mixture of dyne levels if required.
- Conforming to ASTM D2578-67 and DIN 53 364 Standards
- 6 pens per box, prefilled for ease or use
- Standard kits for extrusion film manufacturers and converters
- Available in 32-58 Dyne/cm (even numbers only)

Eco Test Pens
Corona Supplies now supply new Eco Pens, which are both non toxic and non irritant.
These pens were developed with operator and laboratory technicians health and safety in mind, as well as companies with ISO 14001.
These pens contain 50ml of ink each and come packed in 6 pens to a box.
- NON TOXIC, NON IRRITANT (No Formamide)
- 6 pens per box, prefilled for ease of use

- Available in 26 - 58 Dyne/cm (even numbers only)
- Available in 59, 63, 67 & 71 Dyne/cm
Ink & Empty Pens
Corona Supplies dyne level inks conform to ASTM D2578-67 and DIN 53 364 Standards and are available in 50ml & 100ml bottles.
We also offer empty test pens that can be refilled with ink for ease of use. It is of course imperative that pens are always refilled with the same dyne level and so not have cross contamination of dyne levels.
